Meet: Hollins vs. Gallaudet (Dual Meet) 
Location: Roanoke, Va. (Northen Swim Center) 
The Lead: Saturday afternoon was Senior Day for the Hollins swim team as they honored their lone graduating senior, Katherine Komarek, prior to a dual meet with Gallaudet. The Green and Gold won 13 of the 14 events to win the meet, 166-54.
Highlights  

• The meet opening 200 Medley Relay would see Jada Deane, Rachelle Kilgore, and Madeleine Freeman team with Komarek to give Hollins their first win of the afternoon in a time of 2:13.54.
• Komarek would then win the 1000 Freestyle (13:19.06) before returning to take top spot in the 50 Butterfly with a time of 33.14.
• Amanda Cash picked up first place points in the 500 Freestyle (7:20.97) while finishing runner-up in the 50 Freestyle and the 200 Freestyle.
• Deane earned individual wins in the 50 and 100 Backstroke events with times of 35.00 and 1:20.55.
• In the 50 Breaststroke it would be Kilgore with a time of 38.21 to claim first place points and backed it up with a 2^nd place effort in the 100 Breaststroke.
• Samantha Ferrer won the 100 Butterfly (1:34.20) to go with a 2^nd in the 100 Backstroke and a 3^rd in the 50 Fly.
• Mia Bollerer won the closest race of the event when she touched the wall just .18 of a second ahead of her rival in the 100 Freestyle (1:10.13). The first-year added a win in the 200 Freestyle (2:33.89) and a 3^rd (50 Freestyle).
• Freeman out-touched the field in the 100 Breaststroke (1:26.43) and the 200 Individual Medley (2:43.75).
• Nora Sorensen finished runner-up in the 50 and 100 Butterfly races while recording a 3^rd in the 100 Freestyle.
• Deane, Bollerer, Freeman, and Komarek closed the meet with a sweep of the relays when they came home 1^st in the 200 Freestyle Relay in 2:03.55.
