The Lead: Hollins traveled to Lynchburg, Va., on Saturday for an ODAC Tri-match against Randolph and league rival Shenandoah. HU dropped both matches by a score of 3-0.
Highlights:
- The Green and Gold opened the day by dropping a 25-20, 25-17, 25-12 decision to the host WildCats.
- Tyler Sesker continued her strong play this weekend by logging a match and season-high 10 kills in the loss. Kenna Esquibel chipped in with six kills of her own.
- Zoe Brooks and Hannah Crum split time directing the offense recording 10 and nine assists, respectively.
- The defense was paced by Bella Brown who had a season-high 17 digs for HU.
- Esquibel added six digs to go along with a block and a service ace.
- Hollins closed out the day by dropping a league match to SU by the scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-15.
- Esquibel had eight kills against the Hornets to go along with six from Sesker.
- Brooks had nine assists and Crum dished out eight.
- Sesker added three blocks on the defensive side of the net an Brown had another double-digit dig performance with 12.
