Box Score EMORY, Va. - The Green and Gold continued their 2021 road trip on Sunday, making the drive down to Emory and looking to pick up their first win of the young season. The Wasps, however, turned out to be too much for Hollins as Emory & Henry downed HU 9-0.
Doubles Highlights
-As is the case with most teams in the begiinning of a season, Hollins changed up its doubles teams on Sunday. The #1 team
Elizabeth Eubank and
Catherine Bussani fell to E&H's Holt and Flanigan, 0-8.
- The #2 team of
Katherine Komarek and
Carlia Kearney, as well as the #3 team of
Isabelle Ingwerson and
Emily Jones, also dropped their matches 0-8, to trail 0-3 after doubles.
Singles Highlights
-Singles didn't fair much better for Hollins, as all six HU singles competitors fell in straight sets.

Carlia Kearney, coming off a win yesterday against Guilford, was the only Hollins player to score in her match, felling 1-6, 1-6.

Jessica Alexander,
Ajaya Green and
Zeina Ghanem, who was making her collegiate debut for Hollins, lost in their singles exhibition matches.
Hollins will look to rebound and pick up its first win of the season next Saturday as they head to Lynchburg to take on the WIldcats of Randolph College. Doubles is slated to start at 1 pm.
