The Lead: Hollins opened the day by taking the first match by sweeping Trinity from Washington, D.C. by the score of 3-0.
Highlights
- Tyler Sesker had 11 kills in the win for Hollins. Kenna Esquibel added eight kills and Deanna Kee chipped in with six kills of her own.
- Zoe Brooks notched 17 assists in the win, while Hannah Crum dished out 10 as well. Crum also added four serving aces in the victory.
- Defensively, Sesker had four blocks and Leslie Walker led the way with nine digs.
- Hollins used an 11-1 run in game one with back-to-back kills by Sesker making it 20-8.
- The Green and Gold won game one 25-12, then came out in game two and opened up a 13-2 lead following an error by the Tigers.
- Trinity cut the HU lead to 16-11 before Hollins went on a 9-1 run, closing out the game on a kill by Sesker to go up 2-0 in the match.
- In game three, it was 12-11 Trinity when Hollins reeled off nine straights points to take a 20-11 advantage, highlighted by three aces from Crum as HU would close out the match.

The Lead: Hollins rallied from two sets down but ultimately fell to Division II St. Augustine's 3-2 in the middle match of Saturday's tri-match.
Highlights
- Down two games to none, HU used a 7-2 run to take a 16-10 lead in game three.
- Hollins moved ahead 19-12 on a Crum ace, before SAU scored three straight points to make it 19-15.
- With the score 22-20 HU, the Green and Gold scored three of the final five points including a Brooks kill that closed out the game.
- In game four, HU was down 17-15 when it got a pair of aces from Crum during a 4-0 run to take a 19-17 advantage.
- SAU rallied with a 7-1 run to get to match point, only to see Hollins rattle off six straight points, getting a kill from Crum, two from Kee and Aden Watts finished off the rally with a kill to close out the set.
- In the fifth and deciding set, HU cut the SAU lead to 9-7 on a Selena Wolfe kill. St. Augustine's would score the next to four points to go up 13-7 on its way to winning the match.
- Wolfe led HU with 10 kills and Esquibel and Sesker each had nine. Crum finished with 17 assists to go along with three aces and 11 digs for a double-double.
- Zoe Miranda 14 digs and Watts chipped in with 10.
