LEXINGTON, Va. - As far as season openers go, things couldn't have gotten much more difficult for Hollins tennis. 

The Green and Gold, who were already forfeiting #5 and 6 singles, as well as #3 doubles, were also squaring off against #23 nationally ranked Washington and Lee. The Generals showed their strength on the court in taking down Hollins 6-0 en route to a 9-0 win over HU. 

While Hollins was swept, first-year Aleaha Stout was able to pick up a game win over W&L's Claire Lacksen at #3 singles.

What's Next

Hollins will be back in action on Feb. 29 as they head to NC to take on Methodist. The match is scheduled for 1 pm.
