Brenna Rea of the swim team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Last week the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) hosted their 2026 Swim Championships. During the four-day meet, Rea was the high point swimmer for Hollins. Individually, the sophomore set personal best times in both the 50 and 100 Freestyle events. In three of the four relay events, Rea was responsible for swimming the anchor leg in a trio of 8th place finishes for the Green and Gold. Hollins finished the Championships 8th of 10 teams, just 20 points behind Randolph in 7th and 55 points clear of their rivals from Sweet Briar.
