Noelani Carter of the basketball team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. This past week was the final week of the 2022-23 regular season and Hollins played a pair of Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) games to wrap up the season. Carter posted six points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals against the ODAC leading Generals of Washington and Lee on Wednesday. In the finale against Virginia Wesleyan, the first-year guard scored 14 points to go with five rebounds, seven assists, and four steals to help Hollins to a 10-point win over the Marlins. After her first collegiate season, the south Carolina native finished tied for 4th in the conference with 3.4 assists per game while also finishing 4th in the ODAC with 2.3 steals per game.
