Hollins Finishes Third at Bridgewater IHSA

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - A week after winning the first IHSA show of the season, the Hollins riding team followed that up with a third place finish on Saturday at the Bridgewater IHSA hosted by Bridgewater College. 

Sarah Grace Himes and Alex Sanchez picked right back up where they left off last weekend, finishing first and second, respectively, in introductory flat. Kaitlyn Okin had a big day, picking up a second place in intermediate flat and a third in limit fences while teammate Katelyn Mosmiller also had a huge day with a second in limit flat and a first in limit fences. 

Letitia Thym picked up a first in novice flat and Morgan DeWitt grabbed a first in novice flat. 

Virginia Tech was the high point team with 37 points and UVA was second with 36. Hollins, Tech and Virginia are now in a three-way tie for first place in the region with
