The Lead: For the second time this week, the Hollins tennis teamed welcomed an Old Dominion Athletic Conference opponent to campus when Lynchburg made the trip west to compete at the Batten Tennis Center. The Green and Gold battled at the top spot, but the visitors from the Hill City took the doubles point for an early advantage. Hollins was extremely competitive in a majority of the singles matches but, in the end, fell to the Hornets, 7-0.
Highlights:

• Peja Cruise and Kristiahn Foster were tied late in #1 Doubles, but Lynchburg would take the final two games for the 6-4 win.
• The closest Singles match would take place at the #3 spot when Charlie Miller fell short of forcing a third set, 6-3 and 6-4.
• #4 Singles would see Rachel Hull come up short, 6-3 and 6-2.
• Zilina Robinson was tied late in the second set before falling 6-1 and 6-4.
