Blacksburg, Va. – The Hollins riding team traveled to Virginia Tech for the first of back-to-back Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) events hosted by the Hokies. The Green and Gold would finish atop the standings being named the High Point Team in the nine-school field. On Sunday, Hollins was the runner-up, Reserve High Point Team, finishing three points behind the University of Lynchburg.
Individual Results:
· Bri Oakley 4th in Novice
· Cora Floyd two 1st place wins in Open on Saturday earning high point rider; 3rd and 5th on Sunday
· Elyssa Parker 1st & 6th in Limit; 3rd and 4th in Intermediate
· Emma Branche two 3rd place finishes in Limit and Intermediate
· Emma Veitz 2nd and 3rd in Novice
· Freya Olson 2nd and 3rd in Introductory
· Gigi Goshtigian two 5th place finished in Open
· Jordan Atwell-Purcell 2nd in Limit
· Lauren Williams 1st & 2nd in Limit in her IHSA debut
· Meghan Moore 4th in Intermediate
