Hollins Tennis Closes Out Fall Season

The Lead: Hollins closed out the fall season by taking on Covenant which featured a series of hard fought matches.

Highlights:
  • Amelia Shaw picked up a win at No. 2 singles, topping Alexis Baker 6-4, 6-2 to earn the point for the Green and Gold.
  • Shaw and Krishna Agrawal dropped a hard fought 8-2 decision to Madelyn Savage and Kacey Melton which gave Covenant a 3-0 lead after doubles.
  • Agrawal and Savage then battled in No. 1 singles with Agrawal winning the first set 6-4. Savage then rallied to win a second set tie breaker 12-10 to tie the match. Savage then won the match winning the third set in tie breaker format 10-7.
