Emma Branche of the riding team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Over the weekend, Hollins competed in a pair of Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) events and finish as the Reserve High Point team in each show. Branche was 1^st Intermediate Fences and 2^nd Limit Flat on Saturday and returned on Sunday to finish 2^nd Intermediate Fences and 1^st Limit Flat. On Sunday in Lynchburg, the senior would finish runner-up overall and be named Reserve High Point Rider.
