Jordan Atwell-Purcell of the riding team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Last Saturday, Hollins hosted the 2024 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Equestrian Championships. Atwell-Purcell helped lead the Green and Gold to a runner-up finish when she posted an average of 80.000 points during her six rides. For er efforts, the first-year secured a spot on the All-ODAC team and was named the 2024 ODAC Equestrian Rookie of the Year.
