Jazmine Patterson of the indoor track & field team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Last Saturday Patterson and the track team competed at the 2024 Liberty Open in Lynchburg. Patterson competed in the 60m dash (8.64), 200m (27.26), and 400m (1:03.96). Only her own time at the 2023 ODAC Championships has anyone run a faster 200m, lacking just .05 of a second of breaking her own HU record. Currently the sophomore is ranked in the conference at all three sprint distances: 25th in the 60m, 16th in the 200m and 18th in the 400m.
