Sophia Maurer of the volleyball team is the Hollins University Student-Athlete of the Week. This past weekend the volleyball team competed in the 2022 Captains Classic, hosted by Christopher Newport University. Maurer, a first-year middle, led the team with 17 kills while adding eight digs, three service aces, and three assists. For her efforts, Maurer was named to the All-Tournament team.
