Grace Margaret Trahnstrom of the riding team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Hollins embarked on a new riding era with their first ever National College Equestrian Association (NCEA) events in program history. Hollins traveled to South Carolina for a matchup with the 2025-26 National Champion Gamecocks before taking on Sewanee. Hollins would tie USC and see Sewanee rally to defeat HU 5-3. In the NCEA opener, Tranhstrom was named the Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) by scoring an 84-82 win over Fences and then registered 78 points on the Flat. Against the Tigers, Trahnstrom scored a team high 90 points in a win on the Flat, bringing her early season record to 2-1.
