Zaria Holden of the basketball team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. Hollins has started the season 3-1 and Holden has been a big part of the success. Last weekend' Hollins played in the Jean Beamer Tip-Off Classic, going 1-1. For the event, the junior scored 36 points, six rebounds, seven assists, a block, and three steals helping the Holden land a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Currently Zaria is 3rd in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) in scoring at 17.5 points per game. She is 9th in the ODAC with 3.3 assists per game and 7th in shooting percentage at 53.1%.
