  • Hollins First Season Concludes At ODAC Championships

    Saturday marked the end of the first cross country season in a decade for Hollins. Their final meet of the season was the 2016 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Cross Country Championships. 11 conference schools contested the championship over a 6K course at the Vista Links Golf Club in Buena Vista.
  • Regular Season Finale At Gettysburg

    For the final time this regular season, the Hollins cross country team was in action looking to have a strong finish to the first campaign in a decade. Hollins would face a tough field at the 28th annual Gettysburg Invitational. The 6K race featured 260 runners from 29 different institutions.
  • Salmeron Places Top 10 At Hagan Stone

    The Hollins University cross country team traveled to the Greensboro area on Saturday where they were competing at the Hagan Stone Cross Country Classic. The event was held at the Hagan Stone Park over a 5K course. The all day event featured over 1,700 runners in various levels of competition. Hollins competed in a field of 54 runners representing nine different, NCAA DIII, institutions.
  • Hollins Third At Roanoke College Invitational

    The Hollins University cross country team ran in the seven team, Maroon Classic on Saturday morning. The 5K event was hosted by Roanoke College and took place at Mowles Spring State Park in Salem.
  • Cross Country Competes At ODAC Previews

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) cross country teams got together to compete on the very course that the 2016 Championships will be contested in late October. The Vista Links Golf Course in Buena Vista hosted all 12 ODAC squads competing over a 4K course on Friday evening.
  • Salmeron Paces Hollins In Cross Country Debut

    For the first time in over a decade, Hollins University competed in a cross country meet. Hollins added the sport to her roster of sports last winter and Thursday evening marked the opening race of the 2016 season. Hollins traveled to Bridgewater to compete in the Eagle Challenge, a 4K race that featured 85 racers representing nine different schools.
  • Hollins Tabbed 11th In 2016 ODAC Preseason Poll

    Back in mid-December, Hollins announced that cross country would begin as a competing member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) in the fall of 2016. This morning the conference released their 2016 Women's Cross Country preseason poll and Hollins was picked to finish 11th, as voted on by the league's coaches.
  • Hollins University To Add Cross Country In Fall Of 2016

    Hollins University has announced that they will be adding cross country to their roster of sport offerings for 2016-17. Hollins will compete in a full schedule and become the 10th women's team competing for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship in the fall of 2016.
