  • 2017 Hollins University Summer Sports Camps

    The Hollins University Athletic Department is pleased to announce a summer camp offering. The 2017 Hollins University Volleyball Camp will be held July 10-12.
  • Hollins Faces Generals In Finale
    October 25, 2016
    The Hollins volleyball team traveled to Lexington to take on Washington and Lee in their regular season finale. The Generals came into the season picked to win the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship and were currently sitting in second place in the conference.
  • Marlins Too Much For Hollins

    The final day of home volleyball for a Hollins squad started with a visit from Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) power Virginia Wesleyan. The Marlins have advanced to the final four of the two most recent ODAC volleyball championship tournaments and brought a 4-4 conference mark into the first of three matches on the Hollins court.
  • Hollins Saves Best For Last

    For the final time this regular season, the Hollins volleyball team defended her home court on Saturday afternoon. After falling to Virginia Wesleyan in the morning, Hollins return just a few hours later to face Greensboro College in the regular season, home finale. It was senior day for Hollins and prior to the match they took a moment to honor Rachel Hertzler.
  • Hollins Falls To Emory & Henry

    The Hollins volleyball team played host to Emory & Henry College on Thursday night. It was Faculty Appreciation night at the gym as the team took a moment to take the faculty and staff members that make their Hollins experience fulfilling. The Wasps came into the matchup with a 4-4 conference record while the home team went searching to pick up their first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory of the season.
  • Third Time Not A Charm For Hollins

    The Hollins volleyball team went on the road for a non-conference match with Ferrum on Tuesday night, It marked the third time this season that Hollins has faced off across the net from the Panthers, with Ferrum taking the first two matchups earlier in the season.
  • Young Hollins Squad Grows Overnight

    After struggling against Shenandoah less than 24 hours ago, the young Hollins volleyball team took the court looking to rebound against Guilford College. The Quakers came into the match looking to improve on a 3-3 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) mark while Hollins needed to make quick improvements in order to pull off the upset.
  • Hornets Attack Too Much For Hollins

    The Hollins volleyball team opened fall break with the first of back to back Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matches. Shenandoah was the opponent for Hollins and with a win, the home team would move past the Hornets in the conference standings.
  • Spirits Once Again Hold Off Hollins

    The the second time this season the Hollins volleyball team lined up across the net from Salem College. Back on September 27th, Salem came to Roanoke and held off Hollins in a three set match that saw each team with a chance to win. Hollins traveled to Winston-Salem on Monday night looking to earn a victory in the rematch.

    The annual matchup of cross-town rivals took place on Tuesday night when Hollins traveled the short distance south on Interstate 81 to face Roanoke College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action. Hollins fell to the Maroons earlier in the season when Roanoke hosted the 2016 Maroon Classic.

    After falling in a thrilling five set match with Mount Aloysius on Friday night, the Hollins volleyball team was back on the same court to face Pitt-Greensburg in a non-conference, neutral site matchup. The young Hollins team would have a short turnaround in their effort to earn a split on the road trip.

    The Hollins volleyball team traveled to Pennsylvania to play the first of back to back matches at Mount Aloysiuis College. Hollins faced off with the Mounties on Friday night before facing Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday morning.

    The Hollins volleyball team closed out September with a visit from Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) power Bridgewater College on Wednesday night. The Eagles came into the matchup with a 3-1 conference mark while Hollins was looking to build off their momentum from the Salem match last night.

    Tuesday night marked the first of back to back home matches for the Hollins volleyball team. Salem College would be the opponent on the eve before a visit from Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) rival Bridgewater on Wednesday.

    The Hollins volleyball team traveled to Harrisonburg to face Eastern Mennonite in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action. The winner would pick up their first conference win of the season and move up the ODAC standings.
  • Ferrum Takes Rematch

    After facing Ferrum College at the Maroon Classic earlier this month, Hollins welcomed the Panthers to campus for a rematch. Nine days ago, Ferrum got the best of their hosts but Hollins came into the match on a home win streak and looked to get even with the Panthers.
  • Hornets Play Host To Hollins

    The Hollins volleyball team wrapped up her two match road swing to open Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. Hollins bested Wilson College on Tuesday night before falling to Randolph-Macon the next evening. Hollins would need a win over the Hornets to post a winning record for the week.
  • Defending Champs Welcome Hollins

    After several non-conference matches to start the season, Hollins began Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play with a trip to Randolph-Macon. The Yellow Jackets won the 2015 ODAC Volleyball Championship and Hollins would be the first conference team to take aim at knocking off the champs.

    For only the second time this season, the Hollins volleyball team defended her home court when they welcomed Wilson College to campus for a non-conference matchup. Hollins came into the match in desperate need of a win after falling to pick up a win at the Roanoke College Maroon Classic over the weekend.

    The Hollins volleyball team played two more matches in the second and final day of the 2106 Roanoke College Maroon Classic on Saturday afternoon. Hollins played a pair of USA South opponents, Ferrum and Mary Baldwin, to wrap up play.
  • Slow Start In Salem
    September 09, 2016
    Hollins traveled across town to compete in the 2016 Maroon Classic hosted by Roanoke College. Mary Baldwin was the first opponent for a Hollins squad looking to turn the tables on the Squirrels after falling in four sets on Wednesday night. Hollins would face the host in a non-conference matchup in the night cap.

    For the first time this season the Hollins volleyball team looked to defend her home court. After splitting a pair of matches over the weekend, Hollins opened their home schedule with a visit from Mary Baldwin. The match marked the first of two consecutive games with the Squirrels.

    The Hollins University volleyball team opened her 2016 season on the road when they traveled to Atlanta, Georgia for a pair of matches. Agnes Scott would be the first opponent to challenge the young, up and coming squad. Hollins struggled early and never could get into the match as the Scotties took the season opener, 3-0.
  • Hollins Sweeps Way To First Win

    Fresh off their first match of the season, the young Hollins volleyball team returned to the court just minutes after their 2016 opener. Seven Hollins first-year players had just played their first collegiate match and took aim at picking up the first wins of their careers. Wesleyan College awaited Hollins but green and gold dominated the fist set and never looked back.
  • Hollins Picked 12th By League's Coaches

    The 2016 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Volleyball Preseason Poll was released on Friday afternoon. The conference coaches voted, via email to select the poll and Hollins was tabbed to finish 12th after the votes were tallied.
