The Hollins swim team opened their 2016-17 season with a trip to South Carolina to compete in the Converse College All Women's Invitational. Hollins placed fourth, one spot and 17 points clear of their arch rivals from Sweet Briar College.
In a field that included NCAA DII, DIII, and NAIA competition, Hollins was the highest finishing division 3 team in the final standings. The two day event was comprised of 18 different individual and relay races.
The best individual finishes for Hollins occurred in the second event of the meet.
