    At Hollins, students have the opportunity in between semesters during January Term (J-Term for short) to take part in an internship, a course that involves traveling, or take a seminar class on campus they might not normally take during the fall and spring semesters.

    The Hollins soccer team traveled to face their arch rivals in their regular season finale on Saturday afternoon. After a one year hiatus, Hollins took the field against the Vixens in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. With both teams eliminated from the conference tournament, the two long time rivals squared off with pride and bragging rights on the line.
  • Hollins Travels To Bridgewater For Saturday Matchup

    On the second to last weekend of the regular season, Hollins traveled to Bridgewater to face the Eagles in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match. The Eagles came into the game looking to stay near the top of the conference standings while a shorthanded Hollins squad made the trip looking to pull off the upset.

    For the final time this fall, the Hollins soccer team defended Moody Field from an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) foe. Shenandoah was the opponent in Hollins regular season, home finale. The Hornets came into the match sitting in second place in the current ODAC standings and sported one of the leading scorers in the nation.

    The Hollins University soccer team played their final Saturday home match of the season when they welcomed Randolph-Macon to town. Prior to the match, Hollins took a moment to honor her lone senior, Allie Tambornini, before taking on the Yellow Jackets.

    Hollins traveled to Emory & Henry on Wednesday night in search of their first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win of the season. The Wasps also came into the match having yet to taste ODAC victory and the winner would have a chance to move closer to securing a berth to the end of season ODAC Women's Soccer Tournament.

    For the second time in as many days, Hollins sent one of her teams to Lynchburg to face Randolph College. After the WildCats got the best of the Hollins volleyball team last night, the soccer team made the trip east looking to pick up a conference win against Randolph.

    Hollins played host to perennial Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) power Washington and Lee on Wednesday afternoon. The Generals came into the match after a win over Randolph College while the home standing Hollins squad looked to pick up a conference win.

    After a rare, mid-season, non-conference game earlier in the week, Hollins got back to Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play with a trip to Eastern Mennonite on Saturday afternoon. The Royals came into the match with a 1-1 league mark while Hollins was still in trying to break through in the ODAC win column.

    The Hollins University soccer team played a rare, mid-season, non-conference game when they traveled to face Johnson & Wales in Charlotte. The Wildcats defeated Hollins last season and the green and gold went on the road looking to exact a bit of revenge.

    Saturday afternoon marked the fourth of a four game home stand for a Hollins team looking to earn their first Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory of the season. Guilford College was the opponent as the Quakers opened their ODAC schedule.

    After starting the season with eight consecutive non-conference matches, the Hollins soccer team hosted cross-town rival Roanoke College in her Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opener. Hollins looked to get the conference season off to a good start while the Maroons came into the game after tying Randolph-Macon in their first conference matchup.

    The Hollins soccer team played one final non-conference match ahead of a date with cross-town rival Roanoke College. DI Hampton University traveled to Roanoke in search of their first win of the season. Hollins would need one of her best efforts to date to keep up with the speedy Pirates.

    For the first time this season, Hollins looked to defend her home field as Averett University came calling in non-conference action. After starting the season on a six game road trip, Hollins opened up a four match home stand against the Cougars.

    For the sixth consecutive match, the Hollins soccer team put on their away uniforms as they wrapped up a season opening road swing looking to even her record at 3-3. Hollins entered their matchup with Wilson College, a perfect 3-0, on a two game win streak after defeating Mary Baldwin and Trinity by identical, 2-1, scores.

    After winning their first match of the season on Wednesday night, Hollins was back in action against Trinty DC on Saturday afternoon. The match was the fifth of a six game road trip to start the season for a young Hollins squad looking to win back to back games for the first time since October of 2013.

    The Hollins soccer team played her fourth straight match to start the 2016 season and when they took the field against Mary Baldwin, still in search of their first victory. Having fallen to the Squirrels for the past two seasons, Hollins looked to build off their solid effort against Wesleyan College to try and turn the tables on their long time foe.

    For the second time in less than 24 hours, the Hollins soccer team took the field in search of picking up a road win to start the season. Sunday marked the third of six consecutive road matches to kick off the 2016 campaign. Hollins looked to exact a bit of revenge against a Wesleyan College team that defeated them, 2-0, one year ago.

    For the second consecutive match, the Hollins soccer team took to road to start the 2016 season. After falling to Greensboro, Hollins took on Agnes Scott on Saturday morning looking to get into the win column against a Scotties team in hopes of running its' record to 2-0 on the season.

  • ODAC Announces Women's Soccer Poll

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their 2016 Women's Soccer Preseason Poll on Wednesday morning. The coaches ranked each of the conference's teams, via a preseason vote, and Hollins was picked to finish 13th in the upcoming season.
