Roanoke, VA - The Hollins Invitational had to be rearranged due to the impending weather coming to the Roanoke Valley. The two day event that was scheduled to tee off on Saturday was turned into a one day affair played on the Roanoke Country Club's Crabapple and Redbud courses. The tournament featured 23 golfers from five different schools competing on the par 72, 5,801 layout.

Hollins finished third in the field, with Southern Virginia winning and Emory & Henry finishing runner-up. Michelle DuCom paced Hollins with a 107, earning the senior a sixth place finish in the individual field. Ya Gao and Pranika Kar finished the afternoon tied and just missed out on the top 10 by ending up in the 11th spot. Charlie Vollmers and Sydney Strange rounded out the lineup for the third place finishers.

In lieu of a two day event, the Hollins Classic will be held on Sunday morning at Hunting Hills Country Club in Roanoke.
