  • 2017 ODAC Golf Tournament Comes To A Close

    Tuesday marked the final day of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Golf Championships. The three-day tournament came to an end and signaled the conclusion to the 2016-17 golf season. Hollins had a trio of seniors competing for the final time while representing their university.

    Day two of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Golf Championships saw each of Hollins three golfers improve their position heading into Tuesday's third, and final, round. Due to the impending rain and cold, the second round got started with six holes being played on Sunday evening.

    The first round of the 2017 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Golf Championships took place on Sunday afternoon. The tournament is scheduled to be contested over three days on the Stoney Creek Golf Course in Wintergreen. The women's championship is being held on the Tuckahoe and Monacan courses, playing at par 72 over the 5,805 layout.

    The final regular season golf event of the 2016-17 season took place on Saturday afternoon when Hollins hosted Sweet Briar at Ashley Plantation. The event featured six golfers taking aim at the 5,807 yard layout in Daleville.

    Hollins University hosted her second tournament in as many days on the Cobb Course at the Resort at Glade Springs. Bridgewater College posted a 318 score to win the team event with the Eagle's Christina Herbert earning medalist honors with a one under par, 72.
  • Hollins Invitational Golf Tournament Kicks Off

    The first of two events at the 2017 Hollins Spring Invitational was held on Sunday. The team tournament featured golfers from nine different schools and was held at the Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, WV.
  • Ciccarello Paces Hollins On Day Two

    Tuesday marked the second, and final, day of the Callaway Spring Invitational hosted by Greensboro College. The event wrapped up play at Bryan Park and was contested over a 5,812 yard layout. Hollins finished 13th in the field that included 63 golfers.
  • Golf Begins Spring In Greensboro

    For the first time in 2017, the Hollins golf team was in action on Monday when they traveled to Greensboro. The team would take aim at some of the region's best in the 13 team, 63 golfer field in the Callaway Spring Invite, hosted by Greensboro College. The two-day event is being contested at Bryan Park Champions Course in Browns Summit, NC.
  • J-Term Spotlight: Golf Team

    At Hollins, students have the opportunity in between semesters during January Term (J-Term for short) to take part in an internship, a course that involves traveling, or take a seminar class on campus they might not normally take during the fall and spring semesters.

    In the seventh installment of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) 40, a series that spotlights the accomplishments of student-athletes at the different member institutions over the past 40 years, Hollins golfer Elizabeth Cheng was highlighted.

    The Hollins golf team enjoyed a fall break trip to New Orleans to play Loyola in a dual match on Thursday afternoon. Hollins and the Wolfpack took aim at the par 72, 5,800 yard layout at Oak Harbor Golf Club in Slidell, LA.
  • Lexington Country Club Hosts Finale

    The second and final round of the General's Invitational, hosted by Washington and Lee, was played at the Lexington Golf and Country Club on Tuesday. Hollins finished the event in 12th place after competing on the par 72 layout. Hollins improved her score by 12 strokes from the opening round, but it wasn't enough to move up in the final standings.

    Monday marked the opening round of the Washington and Lee General's Invitational. The two day event is being held at the Lexington Golf and Country Club and features a field of 70 golfers, representing 14 different college and universities.

    Day two of the 2016 Bridgewater Fall Invitational saw Hollins start the round in eighth place. After the completion of the event, Hollins had passed Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) foe Shenandoah to secure seventh place.

  • Hollins Sweeps Vixens In Match Play

    Saturday afternoon saw the Hollins golf team compete for the second time this fall. Hollins traveled to Sweet Briar to play the Vixens in match play. After finishing well clear of their rivals last weekend at Shenandoah, Hollins looked to make it two in a row over Sweet Briar.

    The Hollins golf team teed off for the first time during the 2016-17 season when they traveled to Winchester to play in the Shenandoah University Invitational. The field of 35 golfers from six schools played at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. The course was played at par 72 over a 6,058 yard layout.
