Hurley Qualifies For SWVHJA

Lynchburg, VA - Randolph College hosted its Fall Festival Horse Show over the weekend.  The two day event saw Hollins come home with a win and a second in a pair of events.

Madi Hurley, riding Tres Coronas, was awarded the SWVHJA Hunter Seat Adult Medal first place ribbon.  Her first place finish qualified the sophomore rider for the SWVHJA Adult Medal Finals.  Hurley will compete in the finals when the SWVHJA holds their Annual Horse Show, November 7-9, at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA. 

Randi Byrd joined Hurley in securing a ribbon when she finished behind her teammate.  Byrd fished runner up in the SWVHJA Hunter Set/Adult Medal class aboard, Hollins horse, Piece of the Rock.

Hollins will travel to compete int he Bridgewater IHSA event next weekend.
